Had the chance to see Lynnette and the Rock Daddys this afternoon in downtown Kenosha.  And they rocked the streets!  I was invited down to see them by my friend Jim Ware, the bass player.  The band was playing a benefit for the Wounded Warriors Fund, a great cause.  Let me tell you, these guys, (and gal), are fantastic.

When one of your friends tell you they are in a band, your first thought may be, well, just how good can they be?  I hate to admit to my friend Jim, I was surprised.  I was pretty sure that they would be decent, but I really didn’t think I would be blown away like I was.

I guess it is kind of like that when I tell friends, “I’m going pro as a photographer.”  They are nice and give me encouragement, but until they see the work, it’s just another guy with a nice camera.  I only hope that I can impress them as much as I was impressed by Jim’s work.
